COVID-19 has changed so much for the class of 2020. Prom was one of them!
However, thanks to the wonderful ladies at Walnut Street Bakery and Casablanca Designs on Ram Cat Alley (plus many others), prom was able to go on! This was not like any other prom, ever, in the history of proms! Well, at least that I have seen! It was beautiful! They had tables, chairs, lights, a dance floor, and a DJ set up right on the street in downtown Seneca!
I am so happy I was asked to be a part of this special day for the seniors and juniors in Oconee County! I am thankful to have met each person that came to create photos with me! I loved how excited the students were when they saw their photos on the back of my camera. That's what it's all about! They walk up feeling nervous, and leave with confidence knowing they are beautiful! I'm thrilled to have been a part of this piece of city history! These students, businesses, and their parents, will always remember the time COVID-19 canceled prom, but we had it downtown instead! Each time they look at these photos they'll tell the story! Imagine who will see these! Their children? Their grandchildren? Their great grandchildren? Maybe! Photos do get passed down from generation to generation!
What an exciting night! I hope you enjoy this small preview of what we captured!
